It looked very good but -- No, It did not fix the problem. However, It does point out that there are problems with some programs running under the Microsoft XP-SP2 upgrade.

Thanks for the good input.

Have you tried uninstalling ePrompter and re-installing it using compatability mode?

I think I have found the answer for you :)

Follow this link and you can download a patch from Microsoft.

Please let me know if it works!

Edited by Ximinez to "Disable Smilies" (a "winking smily" appeared in the URL for the MS patch!)

That seems to do the trick! Although at normal priority it still has near 100% CPU usage, I don't want that to happen while playing games. So as a suggestion I'd say to reduce the priority to "below normal" or "low", or better yet just give us the choice in options.

Pilot, if the patch worked for you and not for BCom, then it would suggest that your problems are based on different reasons.

BCom, try some of the recommendations at the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article, "How to troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity with Windows XP":

Hey all,

Check out this post I've just made in a separate thread re: XP's SP2 vs ePrompter:
